CargoMatrix ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our logistics platform and services.

4. Tracking Technologies and Cookies

Our website uses the following tracking technologies. Non-essential trackers do not load until you grant consent through our cookie banner.

• Google Analytics 4 (Measurement ID G-FP64KY3FYB) — provided by Google LLC. We use it to measure site traffic and understand how visitors use our pages. IP addresses are anonymized and ad-personalization signals are disabled by default. Cookies set: _ga, _ga_*, _gid. Data may be transferred to and processed by Google in the United States under Standard Contractual Clauses.
• Google Consent Mode v2 — used to gate the analytics tags above. Consent state is stored in localStorage under the key cmx-consent; no third party receives this value.
• Firebase Hosting (Google LLC) — our pages are served from Firebase Hosting. Standard server-side request logs (IP address, user agent, timestamp) are kept by Google for operational and security purposes.
• Firestore and Firebase Authentication (Google LLC) — used to record demo requests and to authenticate admin staff. No browser cookies are set for these services on the public site.
• SendGrid (Twilio Inc.) — used to deliver demo confirmation and sales notification emails. SendGrid may use tracking pixels in outbound emails to record opens and link clicks. These pixels operate inside email clients, not on this website.

We do not use advertising cookies, retargeting pixels, or social-media tracking pixels on this website. You can withdraw consent at any time by clearing your browser storage for this site, or by clicking “Reject All” on the cookie banner.

5. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including encryption, secure data centers, and regular security audits. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure.

6. Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. We may also retain data to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements.

8. California Privacy Rights & Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information

If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA) give you additional rights regarding your personal information, including the right to know what we collect, the right to delete, the right to correct, and the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information.

CargoMatrix does not sell personal information for monetary value. We do, however, use third-party analytics (Google Analytics 4) which under CPRA can be considered “sharing” for cross-context behavioral advertising in some interpretations. To opt out:

• Click “Reject All” on our cookie banner, or
• Email privacy@cargomatrix.com with the subject “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information”, or
• Send a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal from your browser — see Section 9 below.

We will not retaliate against you for exercising any of these rights. You may also designate an authorized agent to make these requests on your behalf.

9. Global Privacy Control (GPC)

This website honors the Global Privacy Control browser signal. If your browser sends a GPC signal, we treat it as a valid opt-out request: non-essential analytics and advertising cookies are not loaded, and any prior consent stored in your browser is overridden for the duration of the signal. You do not need to take any additional action.

10. Children’s Privacy

Our services are intended for business users in the logistics and freight industries and are not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you are a parent or guardian and believe that a child has provided personal information to us, please contact privacy@cargomatrix.com and we will promptly delete the data in accordance with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), the California Age-Appropriate Design Code Act, and GDPR Article 8.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the “Last updated” date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, by posting a notice on the homepage or contacting you directly.
